Müge Özker Sertel is a cognitive neuroscientist whose work combines intracranial electrophysiology, neuroimaging, and neuromodulation to understand how the human brain produces, monitors, and hears speech. Her research has spanned audiovisual speech integration, auditory feedback processing during speech production, and individual variability in language and speech monitoring. She earned her PhD at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, carried out postdoctoral research at NYU Langone, and is currently a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen, working with Peter Hagoort's group at the Donders Institute.
